Hnging body of bank officer recovered in Rangamati

Police recovered the hanging body of a bank officer named Rafiqul Islam (50) from Sonali Bank Principal Branch building in Rangamati on Sunday.
Kotwali police station of Rangamati recovered the body.
It is reported that Rafiqul Islam Sonali Bank Plc is the Senior Principal Officer of New Court Building Branch of Rangamati District City. His house is in Bangalhalia Union of Rajasthali Upazila of Rangamati. He lived in a room on the fourth floor of the bank building due to his job. He has been working in this branch for the past one and a half years.
Initially, the bank officials said that Rafiqul Islam was mentally depressed due to family reasons. He had a career till 2033. He did not come down after going up to the fourth floor from the bank to eat on Sunday afternoon. They believe that he committed suicide between 2 pm and 4 pm.

OC of Kotwali Police Station Saheed Uddin said, the body has been recovered and sent for post-mortem. The actual cause of the incident will be known after the autopsy. He will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem is completed on Monday.
