 Keeping in mind the slogan 'Rights of Expatriates - Our Commitment, Non-Discriminating Bangladesh, for All of Us', a discussion meeting and the highest remittance senders were honored on the occasion of the Remittance Warrior 2025 celebration on Saturday morning. 

A  discussion meeting and the highest remittance senders were honored at the conference room of the Satkhira Deputy Commissioner organized by the District Administration and the District Employment and Manpower Office Satkhira.

Satkhira Deputy Commissioner Mostaq Ahmed presided over the discussion meeting.

Mostafa Zaman, Deputy Director of the District Employment and Manpower Office Satkhira, delivered the welcome speech at the event.

Abdul Majid, Survey Officer of the District Employment and Manpower Office Satkhira, moderated the special guest speeches by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bishnupad Pal and Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Imran Hossain. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sheikh Moinul Islam Moin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Ripon Biswas, District Information Officer Md. Jaharul Islam, Vice President of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. Satkhira Branch Sadek Ali and others were present at the event.

This year, four expatriate workers from Satkhira district who sent the highest remittance were honored. The winning workers are Ratma Khatun, a Malaysian expatriate. The amount of remittance she sent was 1,38,90,048/- Taka. Laboni Md. Kamruzzaman, a Malaysian expatriate.

The amount of remittance she sent was Tk  1,17,64,977. Humayun Kabir, a Malaysian expatriate, Tk 16,51,549,  Sumaiya Siddique, a Norwegian expatriate, Tk 11,66,068.

Besides, , the award was presented to Mohammad Abu Bakr Siddique, the owner of Al Noor International (RL-0689), the agency that sends the most workers abroad from Satkhira district.
