Heroic freedom fighter Abdul Munaf bids farewell with state honours

Former General Secretary (Assistant Commander) of Matiranga Upazila Freedom Fighters' Association, Brave Freedom Fighter Abdul Munaf breathed his last today after a long illness.
(Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un).
He passed away at the age of 76 at his home in Ward No. 2 Islampur of Matiranga Municipality on Friday at around 7 am. He is survived by 4 sons and 3 daughters, along with numerous esteemed relatives.
Brave freedom fighter Abdul Munaf participated in the Great War of Independence in Sector No. 2 during the Liberation War and under Sector Commander Major ATM Haider.
Muktijoddha Sangsad Santhan Command, Muktijoddha Sangsad, Amra Muktijoddha Santhan, and Muktijoddha families, social and various political organizations have expressed deep grief over the death of this brave freedom fighter.

, police members led by SI Moez of Matiranga Police Station presented a guard of honor. At this time, brave freedom fighters of Matiranga Upazila and local dignitaries were present.
After the Janaza prayer at 5:30 pm, the brave freedom fighter was buried at the social grave.
