Harassment of farmer in murder case alleged in Gaibandha

There was a dispute over mobile theft in West Durgapur village of Kuptala union of Gaibandha Sadar upazila, but false murder cases have been filed against them to harass their opponents.
The farmer Mantu Akand made the allegation at a press conference held at the Gaibandha Press Club Auditorium on Monday.
In a written statement, Mantu Akand said, a dispute was held in front of a Mosharraf Hossain Babur grocery shop in the area on June 5.
Many of them attended the elderly neighbor Abdul Hai Mia. At one point he was admitted to Gaibandha General Hospital when he felt ill. Later, He has long been ill in various diseases including breathing, heart, kidney. He died on July 7 at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. Kin 'Abdul Hai Mia filed a false murder case against Montu Akand's brother Mokhed Akand, son Musa Akand and Arman Akand, wife Anan Begum, nephew Bablu Akand.
Mantu Akand also said that they had a conflict and dispute with the family of the neighbor Abdul Hai on various social issues. They threatened to see the family members of Montu and Mokhed Akand at different times. It has been hanged in the murder case to harass them. He demanded the attention to police administration in this regard and demanded to unravel the real mystery of Abdul Hai's death and to be relieved of false cases.
Bakul Mondal, Shafiqul Islam, Mithu Mia, Suman Mia, Razzaq Mia, Rafiqul Islam, Akash Mia, Arnul Islam, Shakil Mia were present at the press conference.
