Habiganj-2 : Moyj Uddin Sharif Ruel elected AL MP

Advocate Moyj Uddin Sharif Ruel has won the 12th National Assembly Elections in Habiganj-2 Constituency . The Assistant Returning Officer announced the private result of the constituency on Sunday evening.
According to the results, Advocate Moyj Uddin Sharif Ruel was elected by getting 98 thousand 603 votes with the boat symbol. His nearest rival independent candidate Alhaj Advocate Abdul Majeed Khan got 49 thousand 348 votes in eagle symbol. Advocate Moyj Uddin Sharif Ruel won by a margin of 49 thousand 255 votes.
In 15 unions of Baniachong upazila, the boat got 70 thousand 109 votes. Eagle got 38 thousand 130 votes. On the other hand, boats got 28 thousand 494 votes in 5 unions of Ajmiriganj upazila. Eagle got 11,218 votes.
The total number of voters in Habiganj-2 constituency is 3 lakh 68 thousand 334 people. The seat had a total of 150 centers. Earlier, the polling in Habiganj-2 Baniachong Ajmiriganj Constituency continued from 8 am to 4 pm without interruption.
