Goalando upazila admin colourfully organizes Mangal Sobhayjatra

A colourful Mars procession and cultural programme were held on the occasion of Bengali New Year- 1431 celebration in Goalando upazila of Rajbari.
On Sunday at 8:30 a.m. organized by the upazila administration, a coloirful Mangal Sobhajatra took off from the Upazila Parishad premises and circled up to Jamtala on the Dhaka-Khulna highway and ended at the upazila premises.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Joti Bikash Chandra, Goalando Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Md. Mustafa Munshi, mayor of the municipality and president of the municipal Awami League.
Nazrul Islam Mandal, Goalando Ghat police station officer in charge OC Pranbandhu Chandra Biswas, Chairman of Ujanchar Union Parishad. Golzar Hossain Mridha, chairman of Chhota Bhakla Union Parishad. Amjan Hossain along with officials of different departments of upazila, teachers and students of different schools and colleges etc.
After the procession, a wonderful cultural program was organized in the Upazila Auditorium under the supervision of Rafiqul Islam Salu, General Secretary of Upazila Shilpa Kala Academy. Along with Shilpa Kala Academy artistes, local artistes performed there.
