Gazette published fixing minimum wage of RMG workers

The government has published a gazette notification fixing Tk 12,500 as the minimum wage for readymade garment workers.
A press statement issued by the Labour and Employment Ministry revealed this information on Sunday evening.
Earlier on 7 November at a briefing, State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian came up with the announcement of Tk 12,500 as minimum wage for garment workers.
