
Free medical services, distribution of essential medicines by Coast Guard in Teknaf

Bangladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and distributed essential medicines in Teknaf on Monday afternoon.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Harun-ur-Rashid informed this through a press release.
The press release stated that since its establishment, Bangladesh Coast Guard has stepped forward to meet various needs of the underprivileged people in coastal and riverside areas. The Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the distressed and low-income people through medical camps at different times.
In continuation of this, on Monday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Coast Guard Base Chattogram conducted a medical campaign at Coast Guard Station Teknaf. During the medical campaign, 226 helpless, poor, distressed people and children were provided free medical services and essential medicines. The medical campaign was conducted by Medical Officer Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Naeem Hasan, AMC.
Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such public welfare activities in the future as well.
