Free fertilizer, seeds distributed in Bagatipara

Free fertilizer and seeds have been distributed among small and marginal farmers in Bagatipara, Natore, under the Kharip-1 season agricultural incentive/resettlement program in order to increase crop cultivation and production in the fiscal year 2024-25.On Monday morning, in front of the administrative building on the Upazila Parishad premises, UNO Ha- Meem Tabassum Prabha inaugurated the distribution of fertilizer and seeds as the chief guest at the Upazila Agricultural Extension Department's event. Upazila Agricultural Officer Dr. was also present at the time. Bhabasindhu Roy, Additional Agriculture Officer Firoz Ali, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Umme Salma Akter were present. During the fertilizer and seed distribution, 5 kg of moong dal seeds, 10 kg of DAP and 5 kg of MOP fertilizer were distributed among 850 farmers at the marginal level of the upazila, 5 kg of sesame seeds, 10 kg of DAP and 5 kg of MOP were distributed among 450 farmers, and 5 kg of Aush rice seeds, 10 kg of DAP and 10 kg of MOP fertilizer were distributed among 150 farmers. A total of 1450 farmers were distributed with these fertilizers and seeds.
