Four OCs of BMP transferred as part of police reforms

Officer-in-charges (OCs) of four police stations of Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) have been transferred.
This was confirmed in a notification on Monday night.
According to the notification, the officers in charge of four police stations of Barishal Metropolitan Police have been transferred simultaneously. But till now it is not known who are coming to these police stations.
However, Kotwali Model Police Station Inspector Mostafizur Rahman has been transferred to CID among the transferred officials.
Besides, Inspector Biplab Kumar Mistry of Bandar police station has been transferred to CID. Kaunia Police Station Inspector Asaduzzaman has been transferred to PBI and Airport Police Station Inspector Lokman Hossain has been transferred to CID.
Officials of the city police say that the Commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police has been transferred a few days ago. The new police commissioner will join soon. And after the commissioner's joining, it can be said who will join these four police stations as OC.
After the fall of the Awami League government on August 5, police reforms and public transfers are underway across the country. Officials also said that the simultaneous transfer of officers in charge of four police stations of Barishal Metropolitan Police is a part of police reforms.
