
Four including ARSA finance branch chief Kalim held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained four people, including ARSA finance branch chief Kalim Ullah, from Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar.
Captain Lt Col HM Sajjad Hossain revealed the information at a press briefing held at the RAB-15 Cox's Bazar office on Thursday afternoon.
He said they had information about a hideout of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), a separatist group in Rakhine State of Myanmar, in the extended part of Rohingya camp No. 20 in Ukhiya. Later, a RAB team conducted a raid on Wednesday night in Block No. 5 of the extended area of the camp and detained four people from a house.
The detainees are --ARSA Bangladesh chief commander Kalim Ullah Prakash, organization leader Ataullah Jununi's former bodyguard Akiz, Md Zobair and Sadek Hossain.
During the raid, the elite force seized a foreign pistol, a gun, bullets and explosives, local and foreign-made weapons and explosives.
Following the detention, the elite force raided other hideouts in the Rohingya camp on Thursday morning.
