Foundation of Bangladeshi nationalism was laid on Nov 7th : Whip Dulu

National Assembly Whip and Natore-2 MP Advocate M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu said, 'Ziaur Rahman is the foundation of today's Bangladeshi nationalism.
This foundation was laid on November 7. There have been repeated obstacles in the way of Bangladesh's progress. We, the people of Bangladesh, can never deny the contribution of AG Osmani, Ziaur Rahman, Maulana Bhasani and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to this country.'
Dulu said these as the chief guest at a discussion meeting held at the Natore Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday, attended by families of martyred freedom fighters, war-wounded freedom fighters and other freedom fighters. The Whip also said, 'True history must be written. Ziaur Rahman has been belittled by distorting this history repeatedly.

. Later, leaders and workers took out a procession from the district BNP party office around 10 am.
Later, Dulu spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium, chaired by District BNP convener Rahim Newaz. Also speaking at the event were District BNP Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad, Joint Convener Zillur Rahman Khan Babul Chedhuri, Mostafizur Rahman Shahin, Saiful Islam Aftab, Member Shahidul Islam Bachchu and District Jubo Dal President A. Hai Talukder Dalim. To celebrate the day, the District Shilpakala Academy organized a patriotic music concert at 12 noon. The Children's Academy organized a painting competition and the District Information Office organized a documentary film exhibition.
A friendly football match was held at the district stadium. Prayers and supplications were organized in all religious institutions seeking peace and prosperity of the nation. Improved food was served in government hospitals, prisons and children's homes.
