Football competition organized by Shariatpur District Sports Office

Football competition (U-15) was organized by Shariatpur District Sports Office under the annual sports program 2024-2025 of Sports Department at Jagatchandra Institution and College ground in Domsa.
The battle for excellence was held on Wednesday (December 18). Prizes are distributed among the participants at the end of the competition.
The competition and prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Syed Faisal (Guest Deputy Director), Shyamal Krishna Malakar (District Statistics Office Shariatpur Special Guest Deputy Director Youth Development Directorate Shariatpur).
And District Sports Officer Sameer Bain presided. Other guests and sports organizers were present on the occasion. Addressing the youth, District Sports Officer Sameer Bain said, "Sports is a very effective way to build our healthy body and beautiful mind. No one should miss this golden opportunity to develop their talent away from drugs."
64 players from 4 teams participated in the competition. In the final game, Domsa Rangdhanu Spating Club defeated Dogri Kirtinasha Football XI in a tiebreaker to win the title. This competition is organized with the aim of selecting talented players from the grassroots of the district and exploring talent. Practicing sports is one of the most important ways to stay physically fit.
