Field Day and Technical discussion held in Sreenagar

A field day and technical discussion were held in Sreenagar under the Oilseed Crop Production Enhancement Project, focusing on the implementation of mustard, Boro, and broadcast Aman crop demonstration patterns.
The event took place on Sunday at 11 AM at the Baroigaon field in the Atpara area. The chief guest at the event was Biplob Kumar Mohonto, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Munshiganj.The discussion was presided over by Mohsina Jahan Toron, Agriculture Officer of Sreenagar Upazila. Special guests included Muhammad Jahangir Alam, Project Director of the Oilseed Crop Production Enhancement Project at DAE, Khamarbari, Dhaka; Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Director; and Agriculturist Golam Hasan Majumder.
Also present were Mainuddin Saad, Additional Agriculture Officer Sumaiya Afroze, sub-assistant agriculture officers responsible for various unions, and local farmers.
It was reported that during the field day and technical discussion organized by the Srinagar Upazila Agricultural Extension Department, emphasis was placed on encouraging local farmers to cultivate the Bari-14 variety of mustard under the Oilseed Crop Production Enhancement Project for the fiscal year 2024–2025.
