Female drug dealer arrested with ganja in Debiganj

Police arrested a woman drug dealer with 1 kg 200 grams of ganja in Debiganj of Panchagarh.
On Saturday (December 30) at 11:30 a.m., a team of Debiganj police station conducted an anti-narcotics operation under the leadership of sub-inspector Rabiul Islam in Pamuli Union of the upazila on the basis of secret information.
Police arrested a drug dealer named Mosha Shirina Begum (28) along with 1 kg 200 grams of ganja during the operation. The detained Shirina Begum is the wife of Zahidul Islam alias Zarif of Majdoba village of Pamuli UnionDebiganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sarkar Iftekharul Mokaddem confirmed the arrest of the woman drug dealer and said, "A case has been registered against her under the Narcotics Act 2018 and she has been sent to jail through the court."
