
Fair price market opens in Faridpur

A fair price market has been inaugurated in Faridpur on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Molla inaugurated the fair price market by cutting the ribbon on Alipur Lavlu Mia Road in Faridpur city at 11 am on Sunday.
The fair price market will run throughout the month of Ramadan with the initiative of the District Administration and National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Faridpur, and with the support of Faridpur Sadar Upazila Parishad. It is reported that the market will run from 7 am to 12 noon.
Faridpur Police Superintendent Md. Abdul Jalil, Additional District Magistrate Mintu Biswas, Assistant Commissioner Fazle Rabbi, Upazila Executive Officer Israt Jahan, District Animal Resources Officer Sanjib Kumar Biswas spoke at the inauguration ceremony. Officials of various government organizations. Individuals from various NGO organizations were present at the time.
