Everyone must work together to establish peace in hills: MP Wadud Bhuiyan

The 20th Field Regiment Artillery Sindukchhari Army Zone has stood by the affected family members in last year's violent incident in Guimara, Khagrachari.
The humanitarian aid program and discussion meeting was held at the Guimara Government Model High School Auditorium on Wednesday.
Khagrachari MP and Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Wadud Bhuiyan inaugurated the program as the chief guest.
At this time, Deputy Commissioner Md. Anwar Sadat, Sindukchhari Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Kazi Nehat Faisal, Laxmichari Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Khan Sajibul Islam, Police Superintendent Mortoza Ali Khan, and military and civil administration officials were present.
As part of the army's assistance activities,
a day-long medical campaign was held among the locals, including construction of shops, wheelchairs, educational materials, installation of solar lampposts, reception of meritorious students, awards to those who completed technical training, and free medical services and medicines were provided to the affected family members in the areas under Sindukchhari zone.
The chief guest said at the discussion meeting that all communities living in the Chittagong Hill Tracts should be involved in a common stream to establish permanent peace by maintaining communal harmony.
