Awami League nominated candidate in Natore -2 ( Natore Sadar -Naldanga) Shafiqul Islam Shimul said, even with my last blood, I will not allow any harm to the people of Natore. I will give my life to laugh, but I will protect the people of Natore. That's why I will do whatever I have to do.
On Tuesday at around 3:00 p.m., Shimul, the nominated candidate of the Awami League arrived at the Banpara by-pass intersection of Baraigram Upazila from Dhaka, where thousands of leaders and activists welcomed him with garlands of flowers.
He was given a warm welcome. He was later brought to Natore town in a motorcycle procession in a decorated open truck. Later he addressed a meeting there.
District Awami League former office secretary Dilip Kumar Das, District Jubo League President Basirur Rahman Khan Chowdhury Ehia, District Chhatra League general secretary Md Riazur Islam Masum and other leaders were present.
