Eight including one in special drive arrested in Rajshahi city

In a special operation conducted by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Detective Branch (DB) Police in Rajshahi city, a total of eight individuals have been arrested, including one in connection with specific charges.
Over the past 24 hours on Tuesday, operations across various parts of the city led to the arrest of one person on charges related to attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, engaging in terrorist activities, and other crimes. Additionally, seven others were arrested in RMP operations, including four with outstanding warrants and three in drug-related cases.
The individual arrested in the special operation is Md. Arif Raihan Hridoy (30), a Chhatra League activist and son of Md. Rajab Ali from Ghoshpara under Boalia Model Thana in Rajshahi city.
