Eid gifts distributed by volunteer organization Maghferat in Faridpur

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha, food items were distributed as Eid gifts among underprivileged families under the initiative of Maghferat, a voluntary organization in Faridpur on Thursday (5 June).
These Eid materials were distributed among more than 300 underprivileged families at Station Road, Guhalaxmipur, Ward No. 17 in Faridpur town.
The food items included 1 kg of polao rice, 1 kg of sugar, half a liter of milk, 1 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of onions, half a kg of salt, half a liter of oil, and two types of vermicelli.
Faridpur District BNP Joint Convener Syed Zulfikar Hossain Jewel, social worker Syed Wasim Ahmed, businessman Farid Ahmed Nantu, engineer Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Mohammad Nuruzzaman Tipu, Abul Kalam Siddiqui Dabloo, former reserved female councilor of Ward Nos. 17, 18 & 19 Afroza Sultana Tuku, and former reserved female councilor of Ward Nos. 10, 11 & 12 Masuma Begum, among others were present.
On behalf of the Maghferat voluntary organization, special gratitude was expressed to all friends, relatives, and neighbors who provided financial assistance.
Later, prayers and supplications were offered seeking forgiveness for the departed souls of ancestors, parents, siblings, relatives, and friends. The prayers and supplications were conducted by Md. Moniruzzaman Tito.
