Dummy candidate coming to Sirajganj-5 seat

The local Awami League will field a dummy candidate for the Sirajganj-5 (Belkuchi-Chowhali) constituency in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections.
On this occasion, it is learnt that the announcement will be made after a discussion with party leaders at the residence of former minister Alhaj Abdul Latif Biswas in Kamarpara on Tuesday at 10 am.
Chairman of Sirajganj Zilla Parishad and former minister Alhaj Abdul Latif Biswas made the announcement in an exchange meeting at the Upazila Awami League office on Monday (November 27) afternoon under the chairmanship of Begum Ashanur Biswas.
He said, according to the central party announcement, the nomination will be announced after discussing with the local Awami League leaders.He called upon all the party leaders to attend the announcement ceremony.
Former Vice President of Upazila Awami League Gazi Lutfar Rahman Makhan, former Upazila Parishad Chairman and Organizing Secretary Mohammad Ali Akand, former Office Secretary Gazi Abdul Malek Talukdar, Upazila Parishad Chairman Nurul Islam Sajedul, Belkuchi Municipal Mayor Sazzadul Haque Reza, Municipal Awami League President Mirza Shariful Islam, Sadar UP Chairman Mirza Solaiman Hossain, Upazila Awami League member Shahadat Hossain and a large number of leaders were present.
