Drama, rally, discussion on Community Policing Day in Longadu

Community Policing Day 2023 was celebrated at Longadu in Rangamati with the slogan 'Police Janata Oikya Kari, Build Smart Bangladesh, Safe Women, Safe Country, Happy Prosperous Bangladesh'.
On the occasion of the day on Saturday (November 04) morning, a flooded rally was taken out in front of the Longadu police station and gathered at the upazila public library Milayatan.
Organized by SI Shahabur Alam, under the chairmanship of Longdu Thana Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Iqbal Uddin, Longadu Thana Community Police Convener and Upazila Chairman Abdul Barek Sarkar, Assistant Superintendent of Police Baghaichhari Circle Abdul Awal Chowdhury, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Akib Osman, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Anwara Begum, Zila Parishad Member Asma Begum, Bir Muktijoddha Shahnewaz Community Policing Longadu Upazila Member Secretary Azgar Ali etc.
Meanwhile, the speakers strongly condemned the police killing by the BNP Jamaat on October 28. He also called on everyone to work consciously to build a smart Bangladesh. It is also strongly requested to report any wrongdoing to the police.
At the end, community police chief SI Shahabur Alam, village police Al Amin, Ansar VDP platoon commander Nuru Mia were given a memento.
