Dr Yunus vows to build a new Bangladesh making unity permanent

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday vowed to build a new Bangladesh keeping the nation united despite numerous obstacles."Despite hundreds of obstacles, we will build a new Bangladesh as a united nation," he said, highlighting the importance of national unity.Dr Yunus offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the National Eidgah Maidan and delivered the speech before offering Monajat. Eid is a day of overcoming distance, a day of closeness, a day of love. "Let us celebrate thist day with deep love, let us convey the message to everyone."
Dr Yunus said they will definitely realise that dream. "Despite hundreds of obstacles, no matter how many obstacles we face, we will build a new Bangladesh as a united nation, Inshallah.”
He also said, “Let us pray to Allah in memory of those who have sacrificed themselves, who have sacrificed themselves to realize the dream of a new Bangladesh, who are still alive but are unable to lead a normal life.”
At the beginning of his speech, Prof Yunus extended Eid greetings to everyone."Eid Mubarak! Today, Eid congregations are being held in every village, every market, every town, every city of Bangladesh. On behalf of the nation, we extend Eid Mubarak to those who have joined the congregation," said the Chief Adviser.He also extended Eid Mubarak to those who did not get the opportunity to join the Eid congregation. "We also extend Eid Mubarak to our mothers and sisters who are at home."To the expatriates, the chief adviser said, "Our expatriate workers, who are abroad, have worked hard all the year, they may or may not be able to attend the Eid congregation, I also extend Eid Mubarak to them."
Dr Yunus said they have not forgotten the Bangladeshis who are in different countries of the world. "We also wish them Eid Mubarak."He also wished Eid Mubarak to those who are in hospitals, patients, and could not attend the Eid congregation for various reasons.Remembering the July martyrs, Dr Yunus said the opportunity given to build a new Bangladesh by the heroic sons and sacrificed their lives, "Let us pray for the forgiveness of their souls in prayer. Let us pray to Allah today to give those who have been injured, those who have deprived of normal life, those who have been forced to give up their normal lives for this country."
Members of the Council of Advisers, politicians and and people from different walks of life and professions participated in the Eid prayers with him.
