Distribution of free seeds and chemical fertilizers among small and marginal farmers of Patuakhali Sadar Upazila

Patuakhali Sadar Upazila Directorate of Agriculture distributed free seeds and chemical fertilizers to small and marginal farmers to increase the production of wheat, maize, mustard, sunflower, groundnut, soybean, mung bean, lentil, felon, onion and kesari crop during Rabi season in the financial year 2024-25. The program was inaugurated.
In the morning of November 20 (Wednesday), organized by Patuakhali Sadar Upazila Administration and Agricultural Extension Directorate, Executive Officer Iftaf Ara Zaman Urmi presided over by Executive Officer Iftaf Ara Zaman Urmi as chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arifin, special guest agriculturist Md. Nazrul Islam also spoke. Agriculturalist Md. Mostafizur Rahman.
At the end of the inauguration ceremony, they distributed free mustard, maize, wheat, onion, lentil, kesari, various types of seeds and required amount of fertilizers among 8220 beneficiaries.
