Discussion meeting on Genocide Day in Rangamati

A discussion meeting was held in Rangamati on the occasion of Genocide Day on March 25. The discussion meeting was held at the district administration's conference room at 10 am on Monday morning.
District Police Superintendent Mir Abu Tauhid, Additional District Commissioner (General) Md. Saiful Islam, Additional District Magistrate Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud, Hero Freedom Fighter Md. Nurul Amin, Hero Freedom Fighter Md. Haji Md. Kamal Uddin, Deputy Director of District Agriculture Directorate Md. Moniruzzaman along with officials of various institutions of the district were present.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that those who sacrificed their lives showing compassion for the country, we should cherish that patriotism in our hearts. Patriotism is fulfilling one's duty with utmost love and dedication in whatever profession one is in. You have to love the country, you have to love the people of the country. Only then will this country move forward as a happier, developed and prosperous country.
Apart from this, on the occasion of the day, rare photographs on genocide will be displayed in various educational institutions of the district, prayers and prayers will be held in respective religious institutions in memory of the victims of the genocide on March 25, a symbolic black out program will be observed for 1 minute in the entire district at 11:00 pm.
