Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement in Raozan. On the morning of Eid, villagers, dressed in new clothes, joined children and gathered in groups at social Eidgahs and mosques to participate in the Eid prayers.

After 16-17 years, BNP Central Vice Chairman Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury celebrated Eid at his ancestral home in the village. 

On Monday (March 31), he performed the Eid prayer at the Box Ali Chowdhury Bari Jame Mosque in Gahira and spent the entire day exchanging Eid greetings with locals, administrative officials, and party leaders and activists. A traditional Mezbaan feast was arranged for visitors who came to extend their Eid greetings. From morning till evening, a large crowd gathered at his village home in Gahira.

During the exchange of Eid greetings, he stated, "For the past 16-17 years, it was not possible to celebrate Eid joyfully. The fascist government did not allow us to celebrate Eid in peace. After 17 years, I am finally able to celebrate Eid happily and peacefully with the people of my village. Today, happiness and joy prevail among us. I pray to Almighty Allah that we can continue to celebrate like this in the future."

Present on the occasion were BNP leaders Nurul Huda, Firoz Ahmed, Abu Jafar Chowdhury, Syed Manjurul Haque, Rezaul Rahim Azam, Faizul Islam Chowdhury Tipu, Saber Sultan Kajol, and others.

Additionally, to spread the joy of Eid among everyone, on the second day of Eid, BNP Chairperson’s esteemed advisor, former ambassador and member of parliament, and convenor of Chattogram North District BNP, Mr. Golam Akbar Khondkar, exchanged greetings with party leaders, activists, and distinguished personalities at his village home in Gahira, Rauzan.

On this occasion, a traditional Mezbaan was arranged in honor of party leaders, activists, and well-wishers from various unions and wards of Rauzan. This gathering of goodwill and harmony further enriched the joy of Eid, fostering love, friendship, and mutual respect.

Chattogram North District BNP Joint Convenor M.A. Halim, Prof Yunus Chowdhury, Nurul Amin, Nur Mohammad, Rauzan Upazila BNP President Professor Jasim Chowdhury, General Secretary Anwar Hossain, Chattogram North District Jubo Dal President Hasan Mohammad Jasim, Rauzan Municipality BNP President Abu Ahmed, General Secretary Iftekhar Uddin Khan, and other leaders were present.
