A discussion meeting on prevention of child marriage was held in Kishoreganj Upazila of Nilphamari. World Vision Bangladesh Kishoreganj (AP) initiative conducted by Area Program Officer Piking Chambugong and Upazila Executive Officer MM Ashiq Reza spoke on Tuesday afternoon.
Upazila Social Service Officer Zakir Hossain, Upazila Secondary Education Officer ATM Nurul Amin Shah, Kishoreganj UP Chairman Hossain Shaheed Suhrawardy Grenet Babu, Putimari UP Chairman Abu Sayem Liton, Bahagili UP Chairman Sujauddaula Lipton, Chandkhana UP Chairman Mostafizar Rahman, Nitai UP Chairman Mottakinur Rahman, Magura UP Chairman Akhtaruzzaman Mithu, Kishoreganj AP Program Officer Zefiraj Dolan Kubi, Assistant Program Officer Anwar Hossain, Journalist Shakir and Panial Pukur Model School and College student Mayisha among others. At this time, Imams of mosques of different areas, teachers of different high schools, presidents of various village development committees of union level, general secretary and journalists were present.
