Discussion meeting held in Kamalganj on the occasion of World Population Day

A discussion meeting was held in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, on the occasion of World Population Day-2025 with the theme “Empowering youth to build a family of choice in a fair and promising world” on Monday.
The chief guest at the discussion meeting organized by the Upazila Family Planning Department was Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Makhon Chandra Sutradhar. Kamalganj Upazila Family Planning Officer Md. Maruf Hossain presided over the meeting and Family Planning Inspector Md. Mohitur Rahman moderated the meeting. Kamalganj Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mahbubul Alam Bhuiya, Moulvibazar District BNP Convener Committee Member Md. Durud Ahmed, Dr. Md. Rakibul Alam, and Kamalganj Press Club Convener M A Wahid Rulu were special guests.
At the end of the discussion, six people were awarded honors and crests in different categories in recognition of their good work. Kamalganj Press Club Member Secretary Ahmeduzzaman Alam, Student Representative Aryan Nazmul, NGO workers and field workers of the Family Planning Department of various unions were present.
