Discussion held on International Literacy Day in Rupsha

A discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony was held on International Literacy Day at the Officers Club on the morning of September 8, organized by the Upazila Administration and Non-Formal Education Bureau in Rupsha, with the theme "Literacy for People, Earth and Prosperity".
U.N.O Sanjida Rikata spoke as the chief guest at the event.
UNO Md. Abul Kashem presided over the event and Upazila Assistant Education Officer Masud Rana conducted the special guest speeches, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Farhana Yasmin, Veterinary Surgeon Brishti Islam, Cooperative Officer Jannatun Nesa, Assistant Education Officer SM Ali Akbar, and Rupsha Police Sub-Inspector Nazmul Huda.
The meeting was also addressed by Headmaster Sajeeb Kumar Mohali, Sheikh Lutfar Rahman, Shyamal Das, Shabana, Masud Alam, Abu Bakkar Siddique, Kamrul Islam, Sheikh Salauddin Ahmed, Najma Parvin, Jabeda Parvin, Shipra Rani, Parvin Sultana, A. Sattar, Nasrin Sultana, Motahar Hossain, Md. Nazrul Islam, SM Rakibul Islam, A. Sattar Khan, Sultana Jahan, SM Kamrul Islam, Laxmi Rani, Md. Faisal of the Education Department, Al Mamun Gazi, Murad Sheikh, Pradeep Dutt, students Shahriar Islam Safa and journalists from various electronic and print media of the upazila.
Prizes were distributed among the winners of the beautiful handwriting competition at the event. Shahriar Islam Safa won the first place in handwriting, Jayma Haider won the second place and Jamila Khatun won the third place.
