DGHS DG Dr Abu Jafor visits martyred Abdullah's home in Benapole

Director General (acting) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Md Abu Jafor today visited the home of Abdullah, a martyr of July-August uprising, at Boro Achra village under Sharsha upazila here.
During the visit, Dr Md Abu Jafor prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
The DG also offered ziarat at the grave of Abdullah.
Twenty-three year old Abdullah, a student of Political Science department of Shahid Suhrawardi College, suffered critical bullet injuries during the anti-discrimination student movement and died at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on November 14.
Later, the DGHS DG joined a view-exchange meeting near the grave of Abdullah where he said justice will be ensured for each killing of July-August uprising. He said, adding, "We are working in a coordinated manner to build a new Bangladesh imbued with the spirit of July-August uprising."
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jashore S.M. Shahin and Sharsha Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Nazib Hasan, among others, were present.
