DFP cautions about false list of advertisement rate in social media

A list containing false information about circulation numbers and advertising rates of media-listed newspapers of the Directorate of Films and Publications (DFP) has been circulated on various social media, which has come to the attention of the Directorate, says a press release on Wednesday.
The Directorate of Films and Publications regularly updates the media list and publishes it on the website of the Directorate as per the government policy. Directorate website address www.dfp.gov.bd. The list is not published online or through social media other than DFP website.
All concerned are requested to be cautious in this regard. Legal action is being taken by the Department regarding the list containing wrong information circulated on social media.
