Desh Natak’s new production ‘Paro’

Theatre group Desh Natak’s new production “Paro” will be staged at the Studio Theater Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) this evening. Written and directed by Masum Reza, “Paro” is the 25th production of the troupe. “Paro” revolves around the story of a woman, featuring only one character. Noted actress Bonna Mirza is the cast of the play.
The US expatriate actor has returned to the stage after a long break with “Paro”. Regarding the play, she said, “We have brought the play on to stage in just 20 days of preparation. We had to practice continuously for it. Still, it is difficult to stage a play in such a short time. This has been made possible by everyone’s sincere efforts.”
Director Masum Reza told, “The story revolves around a woman named Paromita. Bonna Mirza and Sushoma Sarkar will act in this role. Bonna features in the first two shows. After that, Sushoma will perform in the next two shows. I hope the audience will like the play.”
