A demonstration-meeting was held in New York City's Times Square on November 9 afternoon to protest the persecution of minorities in Bangladesh and to immediately withdraw the sedition case filed against 19 people, including Shri Chinmaykrishna Das Prabh.

Secretary of the organization Ramdas Gharami organized and managed the protest held under the banner of 'United Hindus in USA'.

"Professor Yunus, who is in power with the promise of creating a non-discriminatory state, is showing extreme failure in the security of religious minorities. Such a situation cannot be accepted,' said the speakers of the protest rally. Chairman of the organization Dr. Prabhat Das also said that the back is against the wall. It's time to stand up. I appeal to all expatriates for strong lobbying to protect the Hindu community of Bangladesh from their respective positions.

Rupkumar Bhowmik, Shitangshu Guha, Bhajan Sarkar etc. also spoke at this time. Human rights organizer Priya Saha also gave a virtual speech from Washington DC. He said that there is a conspiracy to wipe out Hindu community and minorities from Bangladesh. As always, the ruling party has the support of this conspiracy. Mr. Chinmaykrishna Das Prabha, joining from Dhaka, said, "The Hindus of Bangladesh have been oppressed for 53 years. This time I hoped to get a remedy. But the behavior of the police and the army in Chittagong's Hazari Gali is so brutal that it brings back the sad memories of 1971. Such behavior is creating a situation to force Hindus to leave the country.

Mr. Chinmoy Krishnadas also said that 70 to 80 million Hindus of Bangladesh have taken refuge in India, but no one has taken any measures to bring them back. This is a matter of great regret for all. He said, no one will be disappointed by torture. Keep up the movement - There is no alternative to movement to protect rights and dignity.
