
Decomposed body of fisherman recovered in Moheshkhali

The unidentified body was recovered by the Badarkhali river police from the sandy shore adjacent to the sluice gate of the Chilkhali Nagu Company in the Ramapur mouza, east of the JM ghat in the Shaplapur union of Moheshkhali.
Eyewitnesses reported that upon seeing the body, the local people were stunned. Ultimately, they informed the Badarkhali river police about the body without touching it in any way. Based on the information, a police team arrived and took the body to the police station.
SI Mohiuddin of the Badarkhali river police has confirmed the matter.
He further stated that the recovered unidentified body has not yet been identified.
On the other hand, the police have recovered a half-decomposed body in Kutubdia.
Initially, the family of the deceased claims that the body belongs to Abdul Monaf, a resident of Moheshkhali's Huanak Union.
The family of the deceased stated that Abdul Monaf went fishing in the sea about 20 days ago. Abdul Monaf and 4 fishermen have been missing since 20 days ago.
SI Mohiuddin of Badarkhali River Police has confirmed the recovery of the body from Chilkhali Ghona in Shaplapur.
OC of Kutubdia Police Station has confirmed the recovery of the half-decomposed body of the fisherman in Kutubdia.
