Joy Sheikh, a 7th grade student of Goalando Wazed Chowdhury Government Technical School and College, Goland Wazed Chowdhury, Rajbari District, won the 2nd place in the (B) group of the national level one-minute video competition titled 'Amar Kehle Bangabandhu'-2023 at the district commissioner's office on Tuesday.

Administrator AbuQaiser Khan congratulated him. It is known that Jai Sheikh was suffering from incurable cancer (Aidfamsharah Khusdhayadsad-Jhdhamb Oth) and Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser Khan gave him a check of financial donation on behalf of the district administration for his better treatment.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Siddharth Bhowmik, Goalando Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jyoti Bikash Chandra mother of child Joy and Wazed Chowdhury Government Technical School and College Principal Sultana Mehruna Zaman were present.

It is learnt that Joy Sheikh is the son of Md. Imdadul Sheikh of Daulatdia Union of Goalando Upazila. He is a 7th grade student of Goalando Wazed Chowdhury Government Technical School and College.

It is to be noted that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina last June 2nd morning at the Ganabhaban in the one-minute long video film making competition titled 'Bangabandhu in my eyes', among the first, second and third place winners selected at the national level in various categories from school to secondary level, certificates, honor crests etcJai presented the award to Sheikh at the financial awarding ceremony.In the one-minute video, Joy Sheikh acted as the childhood friend of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation.
