Bridges and RCC roads have been inaugurated in Bandarban at a cost of Tk 1.65 crore funded by the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board. Minister of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Sachingpru Jerry, inaugurated these projects at Kuhalong Union in Sadar Upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
At the time, he inaugurated the RCC construction work of Krau Amtoli Para Bridge and Dolupara Road at a cost of Tk 1.65 crore funded by the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board.
At the same time, Minister for Hill Regions Sachingpru Jerry said, the current government is very sincere for the people of the hill regions. Starting from education, health, communication, every level has the Prime Minister's star mirror. He said that these developments will continue in the future.
Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Chairman Major General Anup Kumar Chakma, Vice Chairman Sheikh Salem, Executive Engineer Abu Bin Md. Yasir Arafat, UNO of Sadar Upazila Marufa Sultana Khan Hiramoni and senior administration officials were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Earlier in the morning, the minister attended a reception for students at a small cultural institute organized by the Bandarban Government High School Alumni Association.
