Ctg Polytechnic students demand implementation of six points

The movement of students of the Chittagong Polytechnic Institute caused intense traffic in the city.
The common people fell into severe traffic on important roads including GEC-Muradpur, Bahaddarhat, Sholashahar, Oxygen People suffering from this traffic suffer and severe heat.
Students of the Polytechnic Institute blocked the road in Chittagong city on Wednesday (April 16th) demanding a six -point 2 gate area of the city.
People on the road have been suffering due to blockade and traffic.
The students said a memorandum was given to the Deputy Commissioner before the six -point demand was implemented. Human rally was held, but action was not taken. So the movement has to come down again.
Students are demanding six points- the promotion of the promotion of craft instructor in the post of junior instructor will be canceled. The designation of the craft instructor should be changed, the concerned people have to be dismissed. The appointment of the appointed craft instructor in 2021 must be completely canceled and the recruitment rules must be corrected.
Diploma in-engineering courses should be canceled at any age. Four -year curriculum is launched and academic activities should be done through English periodically.
Despite the reserved for the students who have passed from Deputy Assistant Engineer and equivalent (8th grade), legal action should be taken against the diploma engineers in the government, state, autonomous and autonomous institutions.
In the management of the technical sector, the appointment of non -technical education should be banned in all the posts of the Director, Assistant Director, Board Chairman, Deputy Secretary, Examination Controller, Principal. The notification for the appointment of educated manpower in technical education in these posts and appointment of skilled teachers and lab assistants in all vacant posts should be published.
The establishment of the Ministry of Independence and Higher Education and the Technical Education Reform Commission should be formed.
Students who have passed from the Polytechnic Institute will have to establish a technical university for higher education opportunities. Besides, the students who have passed the Polytechnic and Monotechnic in four engineering colleges under construction (Narail, Natore, Khagrachari and Thakurgaon) will have to ensure admission from the next session to the next session by conducting temporary campus and duet academic activities
