‘CPI Project Fair 2024’ was held with various projects developed by the students of CPI Management and Technology, Mirpur. This event was held on Thursday.

Students of 6 clubs of the institution participated in this Fair and exhibited various projects made by themselves. In the innovation fair, Mechanical Club 5, Automobile Club 5, Civil Soft Club 7, Research and Development Club 11, Mechatronics Club 11 and ICT Club participated in the exhibition by creating a maximum of 18 projects.

These projects have been developed in accordance with various contemporary issues. Some have made robotic cars, some have made gas detectors, fire fighters, wind or water turbines. Various projects have also been developed for home security; One of them is the laser security system. Among the various projects developed by the automobile club, the remote-control car and eye-sensor auto parking system have caught everyone's attention.

The highest number of projects of ICT Club include various types of e-commerce sites, mobile app design, hotel booking websites. Another project of the ICT club is to develop a gas leakage alarm system using Internet of Things (IoT).

Md Salim Rana, a participant of Civil Soft Club said, in our project we have developed an ideal residential colony with a children park, drinking water supply system. Also used overpasses on cross roads to ease traffic congestion. Colonies have hospitals for medical care, schools and colleges for teaching.

Rifat Ahmed, a student of Mechatronics department said, "We have developed automated drones which are capable of playing a very effective role in various emergency situations. Both time and labor can be saved by using these drones for spraying pesticides on agricultural land, collecting various data on crops, extinguishing fires or distributing food in remote areas.

In this day-long event, besides the students of the institution, people working in various industrial factories came to visit. Advisor Engineer Md. Abdur Rahman, Chairman Engineer Shah Mim Obydulla and others were also present.

Academic In-Charge Engineer Abu Sayed Md. Mahbub said that the innovative power of students can take the science and technology of Bangladesh to a new era.
