Actress and content creator Kaarina Kaisar has been put on life support at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
Her father, former national footballer Mohammad Kaisar Hamid, shared the information on Friday night.
Kaiser told bdnews24.com, “She has been sick for a while. She has been hospitalised for a week with liver-related complications.
“On Friday, she was put on life support when she developed a high fever and shortness of breath.”
“Kaarina has a fatty liver. We didn't know that there was no liver treatment in the country."
Emphasising financial aid to ensure advanced medication for his daughter, Kaisar said: "She needs to be taken abroad for better treatment, but the cost is high. We are actually grappling.
"If the government takes steps for her treatment abroad, my daughter may recover. Everyone please pray for my daughter."
Kaarina is best known on social media as a content creator. She has also ventured into the acting world, notably performing in the web series “Internship” and the movie “36-24-36”.
