Condolence meeting of BNP leader Ahsanul Kabir Talukdar held in Sandwip

Sandwip Upazila and Municipality BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations held a condolence meeting on the death of Ahsanul Kabir Ripon Talukder, a member of the Chittagong North District of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and convener of Sandwip Municipality.
The condolence meeting turned into a huge public meeting in the presence of leaders from different parts of Sandwip.
The condolence meeting was held at the Sandwip Upazila Complex ground at 3 pm on Saturday.
Golam Akbar Khondaker, advisor to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and convener of Chittagong North District BNP, was the chief guest at the condolence meeting presided over by Sandwip Upazila BNP convener Advocate Abu Taher. The special guests were BNP National Executive Committee member, former MP Chittagong-3 (Sandwip) Mustafa Kamal Pasha, Chittagong North District BNP Joint Convener Engineer Belayet Hossain, along with a group of senior leaders from the Chittagong North District Committee and various upazilas of Chittagong. The meeting was jointly moderated by Upazila BNP Member Secretary Alamgir Hossain Thakur and Municipality BNP Member Secretary Abul Bashar GS.
Among others who spoke at the meeting were the joint conveners of Sandwip Upazila BNP, Azmat Ali Bahadur, Monir Talukder, Gazi Hanif, Abdul Wahab Kabir, Jahangir Alam, acting convener of Municipality BNP, Mosharraf Hossain Didar, joint convener Mahbubul Alam Shimul, Nazim Commissioner, Saifur Rahman Shamim, Md. Main Uddin, joint general secretary of Chittagong North District Jubo Dal, Shawkat Talukder, convener of Sandwip Upazila Jubo Dal, and late brother Advocate Nizam Uddin. Also, leaders of various levels of BNP, Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal.
In the speech of the chief guest, BNP Chairperson's Advisor and Chittagong North District BNP Convener Golam Akbar Khondaker and other speakers said that Ahsanul Kabir Ripon, a dedicated worker for the party, a clean and transparent politician, a prominent social philanthropist, and a leader of the party during its difficult times, had a huge contribution to the political arena, so thousands of leaders and activists have come to honor his work and memory today.
