Baghaichhari Upazila Administration delivers food aid to remote areas

The public administration has come to the aid of the neglected and distressed families living in the village of Tila Bangali Para, a training camp under the Rupkar and Battali Mouza of Baghaichhari, a remote hilly upazila of Rangamati.
Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shirin Akhter personally distributed a total of 1,500 kg of rice to 76 families, 20 kg per head on Saturday morning.
However, even though Eid was celebrated joyfully in other parts of the country, a sense of silence and hunger descended on this township.
The villagers are happy with this humanitarian initiative of the administration. They have expressed gratitude to the Rangamati Deputy Commissioner and the upazila administration for the assistance.
The Baghaichhari Upazila administration has informed that such assistance programs will continue in the future to stand by the distressed families living in border and remote towns.
