Coast Guard provides free medical services, distributes medical supplies in Morelganj

Bangladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and distributed medical supplies at Morelganj in Bagerhat.
Lieutenant Commander Md. Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of Coast Guard Headquarters, gave informed this on Wednesday afternoon.
Since its establishment, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the underprivileged people of the coastal/char areas. The Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the poor and low-income people through medical campaigns at different times.
In continuation of this, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm, Bangladesh Coast Guard West Zone conducted a medical campaign in Sharankhola, Dona, Solambaria, Patabaria, Kalikabari and adjacent areas under Moralganj police station of Bagerhat district, providing free medical services and necessary medicines to more than two hundred helpless, poor, distressed and children.
Medical Officer Surgeon Lt. Commander Maksuda Jahan and Surgeon Lt. Abid Adnan were present in the said campaign.
