Coast Guard arrested 7 terrorists with indigenous weapons in Bhola

Coast Guard arrested 7 terrorists, including the notorious terrorist Mizanur Rahman, along with a large quantity of indigenous weapons in Bhola on Monday.
Coast Guard Headquarters Media Officer Lt. Md. Siam-ul-Haq confirmed this information.
He said that for several days in Charsamaia Union under Sadar Upazila of Bhola District, a violent terrorist group led by Md. Mizanur Rahman Miyaji was known to have been carrying out crimes like extortion, land grabbing and oppression by taking hostages of the local people. It is said that the affected local people have faced various threats of death if they sought help from the Coast Guard.
Later, based on secret information, Bangladesh Coast Guard South Zone, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Police conducted a joint operation in the area from 2330 hours on Sunday, September 15 to 0330 hours on Monday.
During the operation, Alauddin Miyaji house, Palawan house and Miji house of Ward No. 05 of Charsamaia Union under Sadar Upazila of Bhola district were searched and a total of 07 terrorists including Md. Mizanur Rahman Miyaji (45) and his associate Md. Miraj (22) including 25 indigenous weapons and 08 were arrested with wooden batons.
Later the arrested terrorists were handed over to Bhola Sadar police station along with the seized indigenous weapons and all evidence.
