A total 4 thousand 50 Blankets have been distributed among the helpless and poor people in Rajshahi. Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mayor and presidium of Bangladesh Awami League AHM Khairuzzaman Liton were present as chief guest at the function. This program organized by RCC at Green Plaza of Nagar Bhavan on Thursday afternoon.

RCC Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton said, with the help of the Bangladesh government, blankets are being distributed among the poor people like every year. Under the supervision of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, numerous blankets and winter clothes have been sent across the country. They are being distributed. Those who will receive winter clothes, they will pray for the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Please pray that we can serve you more.

RCC Chief Executive Officer Dr. ABM Sharif Uddin, Panel Mayor-2 and 13th Ward Councilor Abdul Momin, President of Relief and Disaster Standing Committee 17th Ward Councilor Shahadat Ali Shahu, 19th Ward Councilor Tauhidul Haque Suman, 18th Ward Councilor Shahidul Islam, 9th Ward Councilor Russell Zaman, Ward No. 10 Councilor Abbas Ali Sardar, Secretary Mubarak Hossain, Budget cum Accounts Officer Shafiqul Islam Khan, Relief and Disaster Officer Zubair Hossain Moon, President of Employees Union Dulal Sheikh and General Secretary Ajmir Ahmed Mamun were present at the time.

In the event, the representatives of 16 organizations distributed blankets among 4 thousand 50 helpless and distressed people. 1000pcs to North Bengal Kinder Garden and Pre-Cadet School Society, 500 to Harijan Vijay Boys Club, 100pcs to Boalia Insanyat Club, 20 to City Hospital, 100 to Green City Press Club, 200 to Lamia Foundation, 100 to Rajnigandha Development Organization, 300pcs to Kishore Football Academy, Dingan Alo Hijra 200 to Sangh, 150 to Vijay Disability Development Organization, 100 to Noor Alo Development Organization for Disability, 100 to Rajshahi Sales Representative Employees Cooperative Society, 100 to Kalpana Development Organization, 30 to Hazrat Ayesha and Zainab (RA) Balika Madrasah, 1000 to Ulama Kalyan Parishad, 50 blankets to women entrepreneurs.
