Chips factory catches fire in Keraniganj

A fire that broke out at a chips factory at Dhaleshwary area in Keraniganj of Dhaka on Friday evening.
On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and started working to douse the flames.
Anwarul Islam, an officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD), said that the fire broke out at the chips factory near Dhaleshwary Bridge-1 on the embankment road.
The fire service got informed of the incident at 6:37pm, he said.
Being informed, five units of firefighters rushed to the spot and later two more units arrived, he added.
