Chhatra Dal leader Mansura Akhtar nominated for reserved women's seat from Netrokona

BNP has announced the names of 36 candidates for the reserved women's seats in the 13th National Parliament. Mansura Akhter, a courageous leader from Purbadhalar Rajpath in Netrokona, has been included in the final list released by the party on Monday.
She is currently serving as the joint general secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal central parliament.
Nominated Mansura Akhter was born in a respectable Muslim family in Jamud village of Dhalamulgaon union of Purbadhala upazila. His father is Mohammad Shahjahan Mia and mother is Ambia Begum. He is currently a resident of Girls School Road area of Purbadhala Sadar.
According to party sources, the BNP Parliamentary Nomination Board interviewed about 900 nomination candidates at the Chairperson's political office in Gulshan in the last 2 days. Mansura Akhter, who emerged from the field of student politics, has played a leading role in the street movement and struggle of the past few days. Considering her organizational skills and steadfast loyalty to the party, the high command has nominated her for the reserved women's seat.
A wave of joy is flowing among the leaders and activists of Purbadhola and Netrokona districts of BNP, Chhatra Dal and its affiliated organizations as a central student leader has been nominated for the National Parliament. Local supporters, especially in Dhalamulgaon Union and Purbadhola Sadar areas, distributed sweets and celebrated.
The leaders and activists believe that a young and talented leader like Mansura Akhter will play an effective role in representing the people of the area in the National Parliament. In a reaction after receiving the nomination, Mansura Akhter expressed gratitude to party chairman Tarique Rahman and said, "This achievement belongs to all the struggling student activists on the streets. I want to dedicate myself to serving the country and the people for the rest of my life."
