Channel i, one of the popular TV channels of the country, has arranged special programmes every year for the Eid festival. This year on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the channel will air an array of various shows. The programmes feature seven new films, thirteen telefilms, fifteen dramas and magazine shows.

Masud Pathik-directed “Nekabborer Mohaproyan”, based on the poetry of Nirmalendu Goon, will be aired at 1:15 pm on Eid day. Films “Phyco”, “Patal Ghor”, “Deshantor”, “Shatru”, “Ashomvob” and “Aporajeo” will be premiered at 10:15 am every day from the 2nd day to the 7th day of Eid.

The 13 telefilms include “Jiboner Kache”, “Shera Ruposhi”, “Swapna Dekhar Dinguli”, “I Love Metrorail”, “Shonir Dosha”, “Faki” and “Hothat Dekha”. The telefilms will be aired at 2:30pm respectively on the seven days of Eid.

Among the telefilms, “Jiboner Kache” is written by Bipasha Hayat and directed by Arif Khan. Noted actor Afzal Hossain and Sadia Islam Mou will be seen acting lead roles in the film. Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tasnia Farim starrer “Swapna Dekhar Dinguli” is written and directed by SR Mazumder.

The telefilm “Ghorer Bou Neempata” starring Mir Sabbir and Zakia Bari Mamo, will be aired at 4:30pm on the 5th day of Eid.

The 15 new dramas include “Ekti Khola Chithi”, “Gaye Holuder Raate”, “Abar Dawat”, “Obelay”, “Feel My Love”, “Hridoyer Taan”, “Handle Bhai”, and “Oporichito”. The dramas will be telecast from the eve of Eid to 7th day of Eid at 7:50pm every day.

Salahuddin Lavlu-directed “Gaye Holuder Raate” will be aired on Eid day. The drama stars Niloy Alamgir, Riyamoni, Mili Bashar, Dolly Zahur and others.

The single-episode drama “Shilabrishtir Sorbat”, starring Chitralekha Guha, Abul Hayat and Zakia Bari Mamo, will be aired on the same day at 9:35pm. Based on the story of Rabeya Khatun, the drama is directed by Abul Hayat. Mosharraf Karim, Tasnuva Tisha stareer drama “Jominderer Pola” will be aired at 9:35pm on the 3rd day of Eid.

Afzal Hossain-directed new eight-episode production of the “Choto Kaku”' series is going to be aired this Eid-ul-Fitr. Based on Faridur Reza Sagar’s plot, the new series has been named “Nakal Nokol Choto Kaku”. Besides directing the series, Afzal Hossain played a key role in the series.

On the 2nd day of Eid, the channel will air its popular magazine show “Krishoker Eid Anondo” at 4:30 pm. The programme has been planned, directed and presented by Shykh Siraj. This year’s episode has been shot at Pirganj in Rangpur district.
