Certificates of soft skills training for marginalized professionals distributed in Satkhira Sadar

The closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the 10-day soft skills training for professionals of Satkhira Sadar Upazila was held under the project titled Improving the Quality of Life of Marginal Professionals (Phase 2).
The event was organized by the Upazila Social Services Office at the Satkhira Sadar Upazila Hallroom on Thursday afternoon.
Satkhira Sadar UNO Arnab Dutta presided over the program, with Satkhira District Social Services Office Deputy Director SM Rafiqul Islam present as the chief guest.
Sadar Upazila Social Service Officer Shariful Islam, OCC Officer Abdul Hai Siddiqui, Cooperative Officer Murshid Hasan Talukder, Assistant Upazila Education Officer Sanjida Khatun and Janata Bank Manager Shahinur Rahman were present as special guests.
It was informed at the event that 30 participants from 10 different professions were provided with 10-day soft skills training under the project to improve the quality of life of marginalized professional communities. The participants were trained in personal skills development, communication strategies, leadership qualities, financial management, self-employment and professional capacity building.
The speakers said that the main objective of this project is to make the marginalized community skilled and self-reliant through training. By utilizing the acquired knowledge and skills, the participants will be able to improve their socio-economic status and create employment opportunities.
At the end of the program, certificates were handed over to 30 participants who successfully completed the training. Officials from various government departments, trainers, trainees, and interested parties were present at the event.
