
BPJA Rajshahi concludes month-long photo exhibition with award ceremony

The closing and award ceremony of the month-long photo exhibition organized by the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association (BPJA), Rajshahi Branch was held on Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Association Office located in Kadirganj, Rajshahi. The program concluded with speeches and prize distribution following the exhibition's closing.
Speakers at the event included BPJA Rajshahi’s lifetime member and advisor Md. Abdul Zabid Apu, former president Md. Asaduzzaman Asad, senior photojournalist Farid Akhter Parag, and exhibition convener Md. Shahidul Islam (Dukhu).
The ceremony was presided over by BPJA Rajshahi President Shariful Islam Tota and conducted by General Secretary Md. Samad Khan. Other attendees included Vice President Ali Ehsan (Tuhin), former Vice President Shahin Khan, Organizational and Publicity Secretary Samiul Islam (Shamim), Finance Secretary Milon Sheikh, Executive Member Rashedur Rahman Russel, and Exhibition Committee Members Azam Khan, Abu Nur Muktar Hossain, and Sohrab Hossain, among others.
It is mentioned that the month-long photo exhibition was organized to celebrate the 26th founding anniversary of the BPJA Rajshahi Branch. For the first time, 72 photographs were displayed at the association’s office, all captured by BPJA Rajshahi members. The collection featured rural life, social scenes, nature, and historic landmarks.
All participating photojournalists were honored with commemorative crests in recognition of their contributions.
