Rajshahi's ex-husband and wife have both filed counter-complaints at Boalia Model Police Station seeking their safety. The victim's name is Most. Israt Jahan (30). She is daughter of Ibrahim of Boaliyapara under Boaliya police station in city of Rajshahi. Victim's ex-husband Sohrab Hossain Shubo (34) is son of Shajahan Ali of Shantibagh Shiroil under Boalia police station of city.

He also filed a complaint against his ex-wife at Boialia Model police station.

On Tuesday morning, the victim woman Israt Jahan said that last Sunday (September 15) at noon, the victim woman filed a general diary (GD) at Boalia Model Police Station asking for her safety citing the reason for her insecurity. Died in Shiroil Shantibagh area under Boalia police station. Shahjahan Ali and Moses. Son of Rashida Khatun. Victim woman Israt got married to Sohrab Hossain Shubo in 2021. However, since that marriage, the victimized woman Israt was subjected to domestic violence, physical and human abuse by the accused Shubhar.

Their marriage got divorced after only one year and 9 months of marriage. Even after the divorce, the victim woman was not freed from the physical and human abuse of the accused. It is associated with insulting him and degrading him in the society. He also alleged that he was publicly assaulted on the streets several times. The accused had illegal extramarital sexual relations with the victim at least once every month for ten months by making various false promises and inducements.

The accused beat up the victim on the night of September 04. On the night of September 12, the accused assaulted the victim at her workplace and threatened to kill her. The victim woman has also mentioned that he is in a state of extreme insecurity and is constantly giving various threats on the phone including threats to take her away and harm her and kill her.

However, Israt's ex-husband Sohrab Hossain Shubo has claimed that the allegations against him are false and fabricated. He said they were legally divorced and her dowry was stopped. Last August 5 I got married again. Since then, his ex-wife demanded to have a family in different ways. But if the ex-husband does not agree, the ex-wife is harassing him and making false accusations. He also lodged a complaint with Boalia police station on August 25 to resolve this issue.

In this regard, OC of Boalia Model Police Station SM Masud Parves told the correspondent of the newspaper, the police is investigating the complaint of both. An officer has been given responsibility in this regard. Necessary action will be taken by investigation.
